For this baby puree recipe, I decided to add chicken. Chicken breast to be exact, so that we are sure not to end up with small bones (but we always check, of course).
Carrot, potato and chicken puree recipe for babies (from 6 months)
We can start introducing meat into baby meals from 6 months (with the pediatrician’s agreement) and we preferably use white meats (Chicken, turkey, veal …). For quantities, we start with 2 Tsp of meat per serving, no more.
So here is what you need for this Carrot, potato and chicken puree recipe for babies (from 6 months, for 3 servings):

- - 5 cups carrot (9 oz / 250g)
- - 1/4 cup potatoes (2.9 oz / 60g)
- - 2 tsp chicken breast
- - water for steam cooking
- - 1 tbsp oil (colza for example)
Start by washing vegetables.
Peel the carrots and slice them.
Pell the potatoes and slice them as well.
Steam the vegetables for 10 minutes. When it is cooked, put the raw chicken pieces on the vegetables and continue steaming for 4 new minutes.
Check the chicken is well cooked inside, otherwise steam it again for few minutes.
Once cooked, put everything in the blender with 1 tsp of rapeseed oil (or olive oil if you prefer). Blend. If the consistency is not the right one, do not hesitate to add cooking water to smooth it out. It’s ready !

Love your recipe ideas! Very helpful to list them by baby age. The amounts listed in this recipe don’t match your photos. Can you confirm the amounts in grams? Right now it says 4 times as much carrot as potato and only 2/3 of a tablespoon (2 tsp) of chicken. Also, you list 1 tbs oil in the ingredients but 1 tsp in your instructions. I would like to make this and want to make sure the amounts are correct. Thank you!
