It’s almost blueberry season, so let’s take advantage of their freshness and prepare some delicious applesauce!
(Note: Blueberries, like other berries, should be cooked before consumption. There is a risk of allergies, so take precautions! Consult your pediatrician before introducing blueberries or any other berries).
Blueberries add a tangy taste to our applesauce, introducing new flavors to baby 🙂 Apples and bananas complement each other well, while blueberries add a magical touch of acidity.
These three fruits combined provide plenty of vitamins for your baby.
Here’s what you need to prepare this apple, banana, and blueberry puree recipe for your baby (From 6 months):
- [adinserter block="11"]
- - 1 Golden apple
- - 1 banana
- - 7 oz (200g) fresh blueberries

While the apple is cooking, move on to the banana. Peel it and cut it into slices.

Our fruits are cooked, now place them in the blender. Blend!
You may notice small pieces of skin in the applesauce. I recommend straining it through a sieve to remove any unpleasant bits that could be uncomfortable for your baby.
Our apple, banana and blueberry baby puree recipe (from 6 months) is now ready! Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours and serve it to your baby for a snack 😉
Enjoy, baby!
