Today, we’re going to make a unique recipe for babies from 6 months old: a biscuit-infused compote! The biscuit adds a magical touch to the fruit compote that babies will surely love! (Tested and HIGHLY approved by my daughter :))
We’ll prepare an apple-pear biscuit compote for baby. Apple and pear are fruits that complement each other well and are packed with vitamins – perfect for our little ones!
This compote recipe is very easy to make, so let’s not hesitate and start right away!
Here’s what you’ll need for this biscuit-infused compote recipe:

- - 1 apple
- - 1 pear
- - 2 Petit Beurre-style biscuits
- - 1 tablespoon cane sugar (not recommended before 12 months)
Start by washing your fruits.
Peel the apple, remove the core and seeds, and slice it.
Peel the pear and, just like the apple, remove the core and seeds. Cut it into small pieces.
Place everything in a steamer basket and steam for 7 minutes.
Once cooked, set aside the fruits. Keep the cooking water and use it to immerse the 2 softened Petit Beurre biscuits in a suitable container. Remove the remaining water and keep only the softened biscuits.
Put the apple, pear, and biscuits in a blender, and add a tablespoon of cane sugar (not recommended before 12 months). Blend!
The compote is ready 🙂
You can store it (around 4 servings for a 6-month-old baby) by placing portions in a Béaba multi-portion mold and freezing it.
I’ll keep some for a refrigerated snack. Yum!
